New Balance and Foot Locker turned to Stadium Status Group to ideate and execute a tribute to the 90s to launch a new NB silhouette, the X90. Keying into the experiential museum trend SSG created a 2 week popup immersive museum in Downtown LA called Rewind to the 90s. A multi room experience transported consumers into the life and mind of a 90s teenager.

To start the journey, visitors entered into his bedroom where an actor played our main character Jay and explored his bedroom complete with comic books video games clothes and many other items for a trip down memory lane. Then, onto a Double Dare room complete with authentic Double Dare host podium and “The Nose” on loan from our partners at Nickelodeon to recreate watching Double Dare with a host playing games. Other rooms included a 90s style video store, a Koosh ball pit and a hologram room designed to export visitors into a wall of tube TVs and make them into a modern day Max Headroom.
